Good news for horror movie lovers because the long-awaited It Lives Inside will finally premiere in theaters in the country starting Friday, October 20, 2023. The movie is directed by Bishal Dutta whose script was written by Bishal Dutta himself with Ashish.
Despite being one of the American horror films, the story will focus on the lives of immigrants from India. The main character in the movie is Samidha, an Indian-American teenager.
The movie will offer something different by bringing Indian cultural values amidst the modernism of American society. This will be depicted through Samidha's point of view, especially in her school environment.

*It Lives Inside Movie Synopsis
Samidha or often called Sam lives with her parents who are of Indian origin. Her mother, Poorna, is quite rigid and still holds on to their local cultural values and Hindu teachings. While her father, Inesh, is a relaxed person and not as rigid as his wife, especially in treating their only daughter.
One day Tamira, Sam's little friend who seemed strange and became the talk of the school, suddenly approached him with a jar. She talked about something supernatural but it annoyed Sam because he thought she was just making it up. He accidentally pushed the jar that his friend was holding until it fell to the floor and broke. Without Sam realizing it, his rude attitude was the beginning of disaster.
Not long after the incident, Tamira was discovered to have mysteriously disappeared and Sam began to be haunted by nightmares. He felt guilty and tried to find Tamira. But in the midst of his efforts, he discovers that his friend has been kidnapped by an ancient Indian demon called Pishach.
