After the previous two movies, Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) have formed a close friendship and often tease each other.
In Trolls Band Together, the two announce their romantic relationship.
As time goes by, their closeness opens up the past, especially about Branch.
It turns out that in his past, Branch was part of the boy band BroZone, which is Poppy's favorite.
He joined his brothers Floyd (Troye Sivan), John Dory (Eric Andre), Spruce (Daveed Diggs), and Clay (Kid Cudi).
In its day, BroZone was very famous and had many fans.
However, BroZone had to end for some reason when Branch was young.
Since then, Branch and his brothers never met again.
One day, Branch heard the news that one of his brothers, Floyd, had been kidnapped.
He was kidnapped by two famous pop stars at the time, Velvet (Amy Schumer) and Veneer (Andrew Rannells).
The reason behind his kidnapping was because of Floyd's musical talent.
After learning the news, Poppy and Branch decide to rescue Floyd.
While doing so, Branch also tries to reunite his long-separated siblings.
